Hi Clay team - I'm trying to use claygent to navigate/scrape multiple pages on a website. Instead of executing the action, the response is telling me what it would have to do. Any ideas, or am I bumping up agains a limitation here? Table: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/10648/tables/t_uTWFfxzftt34/views/gv_W2QtGExyKn3F
👋 Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch within 24 hours (often sooner!). If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hi Andrew! 👋 If you’re dealing with around 1,300 locations, you’ll need to take a slightly different approach. The best method would be to use our Clay Chrome Extension. You can use it to scrape the data directly from the website and then send it to a Clay table. You’re doing a great job! If you need any help setting this up, feel free to reach out. 😊
Thanks, Bo! I did a little more testing and also checked out the chrome extension, but that will only scrape a specific page and there are a lot to scrape. Any ideas for a way to have an AI agent visit and scrape all of these?
In this case, you might be better off using Instant Data Scraper - It's a chrome extension for this task. 😊 Since AI agents work with tokens, a task like this requires a lot of them, which increases the chance of hallucinations or errors. So, I wouldn’t recommend using AI for this just yet. Let me know if you’d like any help with setting up the scraper or anything else! 👍
Gotcha! Thanks for the recommendation!
