What is the syntax that I can put if I want to copy and paste a prompt into a ChatGPT column without having to update each placeholder manually? Is there a way to write it outside of Clay and have it pull based on the syntax?
Hi Nate, thank you for reaching out. Could you please be more specific as to what you are trying to achieve? Are you trying to run a different chatgpt prompt for different rows based on a certain criteria? Also, Do you mind sending the link to the table so we can take a look? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171717996/ac7729f84b426e1d0358af02/image.png?expires=1732115700&signature=f8d3656d2c0438c1092c9a924c6187d32a2bb04e4c8c8c25d60d98c681eac412&req=dSEgF85%2FmohWX%2FMW1HO4zYTywSn9B5IR2BKsam%2FhVPuunw%3D%3D%0A
Hey Stefano I am trying to one 1 prompt for the column that pulls data from different columns to add the variable data specific to the row. Its an elaborate prompt and its kinda a pain to edit the prompt in clay to add in the placeholders. I would prefer to add the /domain /technologyfound values prior to pasting the prompt into clay, but cant figure out the formatting to get it to autopull once in there. https://app.clay.com/workspaces/117427/tables/t_Kb4NyEhZmErj/views/gv_ZyzrxDRfVpZQ
Hi Nate, by inserting the /domain and /technologyfound columns, you shouldn't need to change your prompt. This is because, for each row, when you use /column, it selects the value from that column. For example, if you have two rows with a column called "names" containing the values "Stefano" and "Nate," the prompt "Write Hello /name" will return "Hello Stefano" and "Hello Nate" without having to manually type the names in the prompt. Let me know if this helps
