If I use claygent to scrape leads from websites, how do I get a list of websites to look through? It would be great if I could export google search results into a list. is this something clay can do?
I found out how to do it.. Now Iām not getting any phone # via the scraper. Even when I visit the website and it is displayed in plain sight at the top of the website hmm
Hi Lukas, thanks for getting in touch! can you share your table with me? we can scrape also the body text and search for phone numbers and scrape the page as an image
Thanks for your reply, Juan. Wow thatās insane. I figured it out. I needed the āinternational numberā field. Just need to keep refining my queries. https://app.clay.com/workspaces/211259/tables/t_JWSWGCTDFEcN/views/gv_1l09gKw3n6E0 My challenge is that I want to find companies that have a dedicated website for apartment rental (but exclude OTAs like AirBnB, Booking) for major cities. I need to then pull all the relevant websites into a table and then scrape telephone, emails. A huge plus would be to figure out how many apartments they have on their website. Contact data is usually in the contact or site notice section. This is for one gig Iām doing, Iām also interested to play with Clay for my marketing agency doing cold email and cold callingā¦ What an amazing tool you guys have built.
Ok, for the rent prospecting in unconventional websites I would colect them manually and use a combination of instant data scraper and octoparse to pull all the fields I want, then I would use clay for any enrichment needed. If you want to do it all inside Clay instead of uploading a csv, you can consider the apify integration. But using instant datascraper and octoparse is free.
I highly recommend watching this videos and trying to replicate the workflows: Āhttps://www.clay.com/learn
