Anyone knows how to loop through current experiences and match the company linkedin URL to an existing one? I am basically try to do job change signal but going backwards across all of our contacts. I tried Find, get but I keep getting Invalid formula. I can do it on item (0) or any other but it doesn't loop through all of them to match the URL. I can't even choose the specific filed as a dynamic field.
To track job changes across contacts by comparing LinkedIn URLs, use Clay's built-in job change monitoring feature instead of manual formulas: 1. Click Actions > Monitor for job changes 2. Select your table with LinkedIn URLs 3. Enable "Update outdated rows" if needed 4. Set your monitoring frequency For historical checks, provide both "Person LinkedIn URL" and "Company LinkedIn URL" columns. This will detect if contacts have moved from their previously recorded companies. If you need to reference specific experience data in formulas, use index notation to access items in the experience list (e.g., experience[0].url for the most recent position).
Do you have an example where this was working as expected? I’d recommend using an LLM to help craft a precise prompt for this—mention that Clay uses JavaScript, which helps the model give back valid syntax for the prompt You can also click on the row, copy the JSON, and paste it into the LLM to identify the exact structure and field you want to match. That should help you build a working formula. Let me know if you want help testing one.
