Finding Competitors and Their Information Using Clay

Hi, Is there a way in clay to figure out the competitors of the companies and then get the info of their competitors. I have a list of companies, I need to find their competitors and their detailed information.

We offer a couple of ways to find competitors and their information in Clay: 1. Owler integration: Use the "Find Company Competitors" action to get competitor names, websites, and social media profiles based on a company domain. 2. LeadMagic integration: Find competitors using company name, domain, or LinkedIn URL. This provides additional details like founding year, description, location, employee count, and funding. To use these: 1. Create a table with your list of companies. 2. Add a "write to table" action using either Owler or LeadMagic. 3. Map the input fields (e.g., company domain or name). 4. Run the action to populate competitor data for each company. This will give you a comprehensive list of competitors and their details for your analysis.

Do we need owler or LeadMagic on our end to get this done ? Or These are included in clay

You don't need separate Owler or LeadMagic subscriptions to use these integrations in Clay. We offer two options for Owler: 1. Clay-managed account: Use your Clay Credits to pay for Owler actions. 2. (For paid Clay users only) Connect your own Owler account via API key. For LeadMagic, it's included as a native action in all Clay plans. Both integrations allow you to find competitors and enrich company data directly within Clay, without needing separate subscriptions.

Hi Snehal, thanks for reaching out. Clay has a native integration with Leadmagic, and we have a native action which helps you find competitors against a specific company's domain, name, or linkedin url.

Bruno R. I have crated this workbook. The issue I have is, if in the list of companies I have is Google/Apple/Sony. Then they show the competitor of Google is google itself, and the same goes for Apple and Sony. This is not ideal.
