Feedback Request on HitHorizons Integration and Parent Company Info

·
·

Hi Team, Could you review the following questions and share your feedback?

  1. 1.

    HitHorizons Integration:

I am receiving Sales EUR in the response. Does this represent company revenue, turnover, or net profit? 2. Parent Company Information (German Companies): For German companies, we typically find this information under the ‘Imprint’ (Impressum) section on their websites. To automate pulling this data, which integration would be best to use—Claygent, ChatGPT, or another tool? Example screenshots have been attached for reference. 3. Identifying Parent Company Name: We have checked the following platforms but haven’t found parent company details: Apollo, HitHorizons, Dealroom, and Harmonic. Could you suggest any other reliable tools or methods for obtaining this data?

For identifying parent company information, we offer several integrated tools and data providers: 1. HitHorizons: This integration provides access to a database of 80 million companies across 50 countries in Europe and the UK, pulling data from both commercial and government sources. 2. Datagma: This tool can help enrich company data and find additional information about organizations. 3. Google Gemini: Our integration with Google's advanced Gemini 1.0 Pro can assist in analyzing and extracting company information. These tools can help identify parent company relationships through our "Company Parent Name" data point, which is designed to discover the main organization that owns or oversees the company you're researching. Hi Sachin, thanks for reaching out! I’m taking a look at this now. You’re absolutely correct—the Sales EUR figure represents what Americans refer to as revenue and Europeans call turnover, but it does not account for net profit. Regarding the parent company research, you might consider automating the process of extracting Impressum sections from company domains using Claygent. Here’s a helpful video demonstrating how to utilize Claygent to its full potential: Claygent AI Web Scraper - Clay 101. The parent company name should be included in the Impressum information scraped via Claygent. This approach seems robust for solving the issue. Let me know if you’d like assistance with building prompts to extract this information effectively!

Thanks for confirming and sharing the guides. the claygent process that you shared for the ones whom we know where to find the parent company info. What about the other companies for which we don't know where to get this details from? Is there any integration, tools or process we have to find out the parent company info for all the companies.

Hey Sachin! Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help. Noticed you already have a prompt going to find the Parent company. Let me know if you have any issues with the results returned here. Happy to share suggestions. To confirm, did you want a prompt to find the parent company if it is not listed on the website? Happy to help with this as well.

Hi Daniela D., yes, I’ve created a prompt to find parent company details for German websites, as I’m aware of the specific sections (like "Impressum") where this information is typically located. However, I’m looking for tools, integrations, or processes that can help identify parent company details for websites globally. Could you please share any recommendations or insights that might help with this?

That would be the same tool (Claygent) but with a different prompt. For example, you could try something like this: Analyze the provided website content and look for company ownership details by: 1. Scan for ownership indicators like: - "Part of", "A company of", "Member of", "Subsidiary of", "Division of" - "Owned by", "Operated by", "Managed by" - Brand portfolio/family mentions - Group structure references 2. Check common locations: - Footer - About Us/Company Info - Corporate/Investor Relations - Legal notices - Company history/timeline Please extract: - Parent company name (if found) - Type of relationship (subsidiary, division, brand, etc.) - Any relevant ownership chain details If no direct ownership is mentioned, note any affiliated companies, partnerships, or group relationships that might indicate corporate structure.
