I am trying to run Chat GPT integration, however above my API key I am being told I am on the free plan. I updated my credits about 6 or 7 hours ago, however clay is not running the requests or consuming any of my usage.
Hey hey! Can you drop the URL for your table here? (if applicable) ๐ซถ Don't worry, only admins will be able to open your table ๐
Hey Alex, thanks for reaching out! Will check this
Alex B., just reported this message coming up every time. I was able to briefly save one column of the last API key you had but when I opened it up again to edit the message appeared again, so we'll look into it. Thanks for flaggingIn the meantime, could you test out if it works with that API even if the message appears? Thanks
Thanks Arturo, the message is gone but it still seems to be running super slow - far more than it was in all my previous experieince. I have even moved it down to gpt3 and re-run the column and after 10 minutes most of the remaining cells have turned from Queued to Retrying. I would normally say this is an open ai api issue, but I have loaded up credit on a second account and tried it with both api keys and have the same issue.
Hmm, maybe the rate limit for this API is the issue? what tier do you currently have?
Tier 1, I checked my usage and well within bounds
I am only running a sheet with 500 rows. I managed to get it to work but I had to press run on all the cells individually. It stalled when I ran the whole column.
I have just duplicated this table and run another job and am experiencing the same thing. https://app.clay.com/workspaces/139339/tables/t_cnyWljE2zksl/views/gv_OUaOaNJxFBJk
Darn! Will have to dive deeper into this with the team but yeah, requesting things in large volumes could tax the rate limits fast vs running each one individually
I got another few days to wait until bumping up a tier, so will see if that makes a difference. Does clay have a recommendation of what tier will perform for most use cases?
If it's hundreds or potentially up to a few thousand at a time, then it's probably best to aim for the higher tiers. Their support team is usually quick and can help with the upgrades if needed (at least from previous user's experience annecdotes)
