How to Handle Cell Data Size Exceeds Limit in Clay RSS Feeds

Hi! I want to Pull an RSS Feed, but when I insert the link it responds with "Cell data size exceeds limit (100 kb)". I'm guessing I need to truncate the RSS feed before inserting it into Clay? Or can I adjust the limit in Clay?

We understand you're having trouble importing an RSS feed due to size limitations. Unfortunately, we can't adjust the limit in Clay. However, there are a couple of things you can try: 1. Check if the RSS feed provider offers a way to limit the number of items in the feed. Many providers allow you to specify a smaller number of recent items, which could reduce the feed size. 2. If possible, try to find a more concise version of the feed that includes only essential information. It's worth noting that our RSS feed integration has a size limit of 2MB, which is larger than the 100KB limit you're encountering. This suggests the issue might be with a different import method, possibly related to our webhook functionality. If these suggestions don't work, you may need to request human assistance for more specific help with your situation.

Hey Dante - unfortunately we can't increase that limit so your best bet is to try and see if you can adjust the RSS feed - let us know if you think this might be possible (depends on the feed you're pulling in!)

Hi Dante, Thank you for sharing this issue. Is it possible to reduce the size of what you're trying to bring into Clay? I'm curious because typically RSS feeds aren't that large, so there might be a way we could shrink it.

What are you trying to track with this RSS, and where are you building it? You might try using an LLM to see if there's a way to shrink it. Perhaps they have documentation or tips available.
