did the share a workbook feature go away?
No, the share workbook feature is still available. You can share workbooks by clicking on your workbook's title in the top bar, then clicking "Turn on sharing" to enable sharing. [1]
We actually enhanced this feature in November 2024 with shared workbook templates, allowing you to select "Share as Template" from the dropdown menu to create a shareable link. [2] You can share via public link or with specific email addresses.

with the data in the workbook?
When you share a workbook as a template, it shares the structure without all the data. Only 1 row of sample data is included to show the format. [1]
The "Share as Template" option creates a template that retains the frame of the table without the full dataset. This allows others to see your workflow structure and copy it to their workspace without accessing your actual data.

If you need any more help with sharing workbooks or understanding how the data is shared, please let me know. Would you like to provide more details about what you're trying to achieve with the shared data?
This is for a client that I'm building a table for, so I need to share the data that I've already enriched with them. How do I go about that?
To share your enriched data with your client, use the regular workbook sharing feature (not the template option). Click on your workbook's title in the top bar, then click "Turn on sharing." [1]
You can then either copy the public link to share with anyone or enter your client's specific email address to share the table with them directly. This will give them access to all the enriched data you've built for them.
Did that answer your question?
Based on your screenshot, you're currently in the workbook settings where only "Share as template" is available. To share your enriched data with your client, you need to access the sharing feature differently.
The workbook-level sharing with full data may have different availability depending on your plan. For Enterprise users, there are more granular permission settings available through "Edit workbook settings."
Try accessing the sharing options by clicking directly on the workbook title in the top bar (not through the settings menu). This should give you the "Turn on sharing" option for sharing the complete workbook with all your enriched data. [1]
If you still don't see the full workbook sharing option, it may be a plan limitation, as some sharing features have different availability across plan tiers.
