Is there any way to filter out job postings that are no longer live on linkedin in the native job search function?
Yes, you can filter for recent job postings using the "Days Since Posted" parameter. This allows you to specify how many days back you want to look for job postings, helping ensure you only see current openings. You can also search for active job openings by using the company's LinkedIn URL, domain, or Sales Navigator information as identifiers to ensure you're getting current listings. "You can also search for active job openings by using the company's LinkedIn URL, domain, or Sales Navigator information as identifiers to ensure you're getting current listings." What does this mean and how can I do it?
You can search for active job openings by providing any of these company identifiers:• Company LinkedIn URL (recommended for highest accuracy)• Company Domain• Sales Navigator URL• Sales Navigator Company IDThe search can be refined with optional parameters:• Job title keywords• Location preferences• Job description keywords• Employment type• Posting date range• Recruiter presenceYou can also limit the number of results returned (maximum 10 results by default). I keep targeting companies where at the top of the JD, it's saying that this job is no longer accepting applicants.
I'm trying to filter that out
Looks like you're still looking for help. We're escalating this over to our support team and someone should be in touch soon. In the meantime, feel free to include any other information that may be helpful in solving your issue!
Hi Dominick, thanks so much for reaching out! Currently, filtering jobs to check if they’re still accepting applicants isn’t something we can directly support. To achieve this, you’d need to: 1. Pull in a large number of job postings. 2. Scrape each job's website to detect if phrases like "no longer accepting applicants" are present. 3. Exclude the postings where that phrase is found. Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. :)
