Using Claygent to Identify Industries a Company Sells to: Best Approaches?

ยท
ยท

Anyone using claygent to find industries that a company sells to? Curious how others are tackling this. My thoughts on this are either ask claygent to visit the site and check the solutions or product page for industries (works 80% of the time) Or ask it to google search for the company name and industries they sell to and it scrapes 6senses company information site for the answer (haven't gotten this to work yet) https://6sense.com/company/nuvolo/5b8916eb7c866675e5115ea2#free-plan-signup

I would say leveraging AI is the best way to go about doing this! Are you not getting the results you expected with this method?

    Not exactly

My prompt involves going to the website and then searching through to see which pages mention company industry

however this works only 80% of the time

and i'm looking for something that will help supplement the remaining 20%

My thought was to have claygent visit 6sense's website where they list industries that the company sells to

but i'm not sure how to do that

as you said above, you can try performing a google search for the remaining 20%

If you type "google" in the enrich data panel, you should be able to "perform search"

Hey Darshan, I'll take a look. Is there any specific page in 6sense where it shows what industries they sell to? If so, you could use Google to find the URL and then ask Claygent to scrape that, or maybe it can find it for you right away within the same prompt and return insights

I believe it mentions on this site here the industry breakdown of their customers

which could be a good place to supplement the remaining 20% that aren't captured

I'm thinking the clay-gent would follow a process of

    1. 1.

scan the company domain for the top 3 industries they sell to

    2. 2.

If you can't find on the site, check 6sense's company page for the information

Damn, ok maybe that's not the best place to look

another option is to scan the website for any customers and then make a best guess on that company name's industry

and come up with 3 options

I tried that, but it kind of messed up the claygent
