I'm new to Clay, I really would benefit from some advice on how to get started. I'm looking to build a cusotmised CRM for matchmaking. I need to be able to have my clients fill out a form, and the answers of that form to be a part of their profile, so that when I seeking to match people I can train the CRM to scrape certain key parameters. I'm a complete novice at this.
To get started with Clay for your matchmaking CRM, here's a step-by-step approach:
1. Start by creating a new table in Clay:
• Click Create new
in the top-right of your workspace homepage
• Choose to create a Table
• Select your preferred CRM connection
2. Set up your data structure:
• Decide between using existing CRM fields or creating custom fields
• Ensure your field types (text, number, date) match the parameters you want to track for matchmaking
• This will be crucial for storing your client form responses
3. For matching capabilities:
• You can create custom lead scoring filters based on your specific matching criteria
• Build scoring parameters unique to your matchmaking needs using any data points you collect
For more detailed guidance, I recommend starting with Clay University tutorials and possibly connecting with a Clay Expert who can help set up your specific matchmaking workflow. Would you like me to provide more specific information about any of these steps?

Hi Lucinda! Here's how to get started with your matchmaking CRM in Clay: First, create lists inside your CRM and upload them directly into Clay. This will be your main table of client information. Once your data is in Clay, you can use lookup functions to search against your main table. You'll need common values to connect records together. If you want to find people with specific form responses, you can add these criteria through formulas to all rows. This will let you identify matches based on the parameters you're looking for.
