Learning About Conditional Runs for Company Data Enrichment

Hi y'all! I am trying to learn more about conditional runs and have a specific use case I want to try out. I have a list of companies I want to enrich with website URL. THEN I want to identify the majority owner & country of ownership. IF located in a specific country, I want to identify the main executive in a new column or table. I looked into AI formulas + conditional rules, and was curious what people would recommend checking out to start this! Would this fall under the AI formula feature? Could there be another way to do this?

You can set up this workflow using conditional runs in Clay by following these steps: 1. First, add an enrichment column for website URLs for your list of companies. 2. Then, create subsequent enrichment columns for majority owner and country of ownership information. These can be set up as standard enrichment columns. 3. What is the starting input you have, just the company name or do you have the company LinkedIn?

If you just have the name you can run a Claygent prompt to get the website url.

Get the website in a column.

Next step would be to enrich the HQ location. Again you can use Claygent for this but the Clay native LinkedIn company enrichment will be best. For the native linkedin co enrichment you can use the website as input that you found in the prev step.

Once you have the HQ location you can add it to a column.

Then you can use a Claygent column to find majority ownership. Here in this column you can use a conditional formula based on the prev HQ location column. To say something like run only is HQ is "USA"

If the column runs and you get the data you want for the majority ownership - you can use it in the next column to find the executive you want by job title either using Apollo or the native Clay people search.
