Hello Support, I’m new to Clay, and while attempting to set up conditions for a specific column to run, I encountered the error shown in the screenshot below.
👋 Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch soon. If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hey, thanks for reaching out! 😊 It looks like the issue you're facing is due to referencing a value that loops back to the same column, creating a circular run. To resolve this, I recommend investigating the values linked in that enrichment and ensuring they don't originate from the same source. I'd be more than happy to assist further if you could send me the table URL. Just let me know! https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1347419411/65baf32e1d2a789ffba395c6d35c/CleanShot+2025-01-22+at+_42I1FzxXHf%402x.png?expires=1737824400&signature=b1180241ddfe60623a5aa5132f3c7ee67ce7ebbb1eac3c0f2921bb4d436f3e43&req=dSMjEc1%2FlIVeWPMW1HO4zVws4pY%2FD1CsgvYjA82bedCKrQ%3D%3D%0A
Hey tanks for getting back to me , here is the table url :https://app.clay.com/workspaces/425830/tables/t_jiZDPEQpuXFH/views/gv_GSXXNnBkBANw
BTW , i didnt introduce my self , i am Solomon from Grow My Mail one of the clay customers
Hey Solomon! Welcome to Clay - glad to meet you! I've checked your table and spotted the issue: the ICP column can't be referenced inside the LinkedIn Post Analyzer column because the analyzer pulls data directly from LinkedIn Post Analyzer. This would be why you'd see an infinite loop happening. What were you trying to do exactly? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1351677046/c758cd0d5564128992cabb2300c6/CleanShot+2025-01-25+at+_402UMekO9w%402x.png?expires=1737829800&signature=6f93dfd42a8d185037d782182c3c40d2bf3b22f4ca64b38d6626e2b77a162573&req=dSMiF895moFbX%2FMW1HO4zYIfSfU%2FBzOdWqGPUIItFH5qekvQ06ZmZhWli6L%2B%0A3qEs%0A
Hey there - just wanted to check in here to see if you needed anything else! Feel free to reply back here if you do.
Hey , sorry i got swamped and didnt get back to you . I was able to sort that , thanks for your help
Hey there , i need some more assistance ; i have another table with a webhook that pulls in data in one array , so all data would go into one cell . Inquiry , how can i put each item in the arrary on a new row . I have tried formulas but they give me the desired result. See the screen shot below
Bwire - Do you mind sending the link (url) to the table so we can take a look? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1347419411/65baf32e1d2a789ffba395c6d35c/CleanShot+2025-01-22+at+_42I1FzxXHf%402x.png?expires=1738018800&signature=dca6d963fb288be5185dfbad7861faa98c279f515cb99a6362513b38681f8709&req=dSMjEc1%2FlIVeWPMW1HO4zVws4pk3DFyggvYjA82bedCvUQ%3D%3D%0A

hey Bo, any update here ?
Hey there! Apologies for the delay. I made a quick video showing how to set this up: https://www.loom.com/share/74d7eaba54ab44029e74030dda1fbdf0 Here's an additional resource: https://docs.clay.com/en/articles/9672432-write-to-other-table-with-clay-labs Let me know if you have any questions!
Hey Daniela , thanks for this let me check it out
Hey Daniela, this worked perfectly! I have one more question—Is it possible to collect data from different webhooks into a single table and then send the data from each webhook to separate tables as rows?
Hey there, thanks for reaching out! ☺️ Yes, that's possible. To collect data from different webhooks into a single table and then send the data from each webhook to separate tables as rows, you can use the "Write to Other Table" integration in Clay. Here's how you can set it up: 1. Data Collection: Use a single table to collect data from multiple webhooks. This table will act as a central repository for incoming data. 2. Data Distribution: Add the "Write to Other Table" integration to your central table. This allows you to write single rows to other tables based on your criteria or conditions. Here a video guide This setup enables you to manage data from multiple sources efficiently and distribute it to the appropriate tables as needed. If there's anything else I can assist you with, please let me know! 😊 Have a great Wednesday, Daniel
Thanks for getting back to me! However, what you explained in the video isn’t quite what I’m trying to achieve. Below is a quick Loom video explaining my goal.https://www.loom.com/share/0ab2e2cfc0fc45a397a34f08cb392d62?sid=69e5f0a5-c012-4050-a684-a59e4cffa496
Hey! Here's how to split those webhook datasets: Add multiple "Write to other table" enrichments with specificrun conditions - this lets you route data based on which webhook it's from. Set a condition for each webhook's unique identifier in rows 1 and 2. Pro tip: Use the Workbook function (click column name > move to workbook) to get a spreadsheet-style view. Makes managing multiple tables way simpler. Let me know if you need help setting up those conditions.
Hey Bo, yes i will need your help on this . thanks

I recorded this walkthrough video showing exactly how to set this up: https://cln.sh/BXWMnmQp Let me know if you have any follow-up questions!
Let me check it out , thanks
But I have a question about the table I shared earlier, specifically regarding the loop in it. Can I share it with you as well?
Of course, What can I do for you?
ok, i have this table ; https://app.clay.com/workspaces/425830/tables/t_jiZDPEQpuXFH/views/gv_GSXXNnBkBANw
I'm trying to apply a condition to qualify a LinkedIn post for our ICP. However, when I enter the condition formula, it creates a loop, preventing the changes from being saved. This issue occurs in the 'LinkedIn Post Analyzer' column. Please check the prompt. I want this to run only if ICP = true.
Hey - This seems to be related to the same issue we previously had. The ICP checkbox is checking the data in the LinkedIn Post Analyzer to be checked or not. So you can't reference that as well in the analyzer. Otherwise it'll be an infinite loop! :) https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1357206375/788d296bc5160504b894282c4e9c/CleanShot+2025-01-30+at+_31CTNDI69Y%402x.png?expires=1738198800&signature=d946cba09d549efde14ecc0a5c5ea1bcbdcc560d160546abb00741bb75bc711f&req=dSMiEct%2Bm4JYXPMW1HO4zSqzN%2B2%2BEsZHP3PQeLyZptByOCXfzF1dC0DyGZfe%0AVnb3%0A
