Hello, I'm trying to use the feature "write to other table" but it always gives me this error (no matter what list from a column I select, it always happens): What I'm doing wrong? https://app.clay.com/workspaces/294378/workbooks/wb_sjbtBH58ctrh/tables/t_K3hspZ5x9rR8/views/gv_dRXR7oknMmHm
👋 Hey there! Our support team has got your message - we'll be back in touch soon. If you haven't already, please include the URL of your table in this thread so that we can help you as quickly as possible!
Hello, thank you for getting in touch. To resolve this, leave the "Select a list from a column" field blank. Then, click on "Add other data from this table," as shown below. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1262515347/b5225525385daf1eaabf71efe276/CleanShot+2024-11-22+at+13_44_38%402x.png?expires=1732302900&signature=048bc8af9c8bcda3658e54b4b748b11bb44337388d7b18022d54a3d5b06daf45&req=dSIhFMx%2FmIJbXvMW1HO4zb8dhMgiLKGBmbdVdlRILlIgmhGwBi7syjq%2FdrhB%0AFBb3%0A After that, a menu will appear, allowing you to select which column from this table you want to map to a column in the other table. In the example below, I've mapped all the email addresses from one table to another, as highlighted in the red box. If you'd like to add more than one column, simply click the "+ Add" button located below the red box in the image and do the same process. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1262515805/c25c28c0d0913b574576f9f032e8/CleanShot+2024-11-22+at+13_44_51%402x.png?expires=1732302900&signature=482ab91d36aca691b92871171935f5c9afd894ba22252cec10bca80106e1ec85&req=dSIhFMx%2FmIlfXPMW1HO4zUYCzL8SRXX1xE1PN7eAYYWN5L3NGzSSz%2BRB9FYZ%0Ai9KA%0A Let me know if this helps.
Hi Stefano, thank you for your help. It works, but the data has been putted in a wrong cell which isn't reelated to the correct company.
Do you mind sending the link to the table so we can take a look? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1171717996/ac7729f84b426e1d0358af02/image.png?expires=1732306500&signature=b5e7d880840bda00aee72694900aa62b947217180dffcc53d4504ca502fd604d&req=dSEgF85%2FmohWX%2FMW1HO4zYTywSn%2FBpET2BKsam%2FhVPvh2Q%3D%3D%0A
Hi Gabriele, apologies for the confusion earlier—I think I misunderstood your request. To have that column appear next to the corresponding company that posted the job, you’ll need to use the "Lookup Multiple Row" command. When you select this enrichment, choose the relevant table from the dropdown menu to pull the information from. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1262591826/d654db78cf8cef7e7261648d9e0e/CleanShot+2024-11-22+at+14_54_47%402x.png?expires=1732307400&signature=3a4811b7d3c51d16876a29e5992ddae6e4703c66c1445cbc3487e231e84e3600&req=dSIhFMx3nIldX%2FMW1HO4zZnqw2vRNDC4FI6frPSU6edo2wc%2BLgvqrV3kuuV7%0ADofm%0A After that, you’ll be prompted to specify what you want the table to search for. For example, in the example below, I instructed it to return all the rows in the other table that have the same company LinkedIn URL. This helps the system identify which columns to reference. https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/w28k1kwz/1262592713/09fb521c3ded2883b9aa1992911b/CleanShot+2024-11-22+at+14_55_20%402x.png?expires=1732307400&signature=80e4fae5fccc5ee5109ddb9a03c2d0f5702f0d8cc163891eba9c8c899a985ca5&req=dSIhFMx3n4ZeWvMW1HO4zQlhQSjP62e4hgjSMlVoXlmqXvYi3l9Dg13GNG4Y%0AIMfd%0A Let me know if this helps or if there is anything else I can help you with.
Now it doesn't found any result This is how I prompted it:
The issue is that you tried to compare the LinkedIn URL for the job posting with the LinkedIn URL of the company, which are two different things. To resolve this, make sure you either select the company’s LinkedIn URL for both tables or, if available, use the company domain for both. The job posting's LinkedIn URL should not be used, as it only appears in one of the tables.
Ok now it works! Thank you so much for your help, really appreciate it
