New to Clay: Seeking Advice on Sales Solutions for Employee Benefits Firm

Hi my name is Joe Hinderstein and I’m new to Clay, big fan already. As an Independent Sales consultant, one of my clients is an employee benefits consulting firm based in Pennsylvania (US) that works with employers that have anywhere from 50-20,000 employees and I'm eager to get them on Clay. Their primary geography is central and eastern Pennsylvania, but they also seek to gain customers in New Jersey and New York. Their current tech stack includes Constant Contact, Salesforce, and Sales Navigator

  • In order to make the most use out of Clay, I was wondering if someone might be willing to provide any advance?

  • Is the Explorer plan a good fit for at TAM this size?

  • Are there costs for integrating their instance of Salesforce?

  • Are there any tools they are missing?

  • How many Clay credits am I going to need?

    Anaum K. - thank you so much, I really appreciate it! Here's a list of their challenges/current state below. Challenges

    • No market segmentation. Their existing email distribution list has a combination of current clients and prospects. This list has no segmentation by sector, employer size, pain-points, benefits preferences, and other key criteria. Despite selling across 3 states, they only have ~5,000 names that they are reaching out to.

    • Deliverability. Existing list of email addresses includes non-deliverable addresses.

    • No personalization. Outbound emails do not include personalization of any kind, just first name personalization.
