Hey everyone - I must have the most basic issue ever but I'm trying to import a list of agencies from a CSV in order to run a search for a specific title. Every time I run 'import' it creates the column but it's blank. At first I had two columns 'Agency' and Website' - when I chose import as tab, it worked but they were imported into one column together. Now I just deleted the second column trying to get the Agency column to import and nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?
It sounds like you're experiencing CSV separator issues. When importing CSVs into Clay, problems can occur if your file contains mixed separators (commas and semicolons) or formatting oddities. To fix this: 1. Check your CSV file for mixed separators - Clay supports either commas or semicolons, but mixing them causes problems 2. Remove any commas, colons, or semicolons from your actual data content 3. Ensure your CSV is UTF-8 encoded 4. Try uploading your data to a Google Sheet, then download as CSV and import again For a proper import with separate columns: 1. Open your table 2. Click Actions > Import > Import from CSV 3. Upload your file 4. Select "Add to current table" and continue 5. Carefully map your columns to ensure they're separated correctly If you're still having trouble after trying these steps, let me know and I can help troubleshoot further.
