Issues Importing Leads from SalesForce: Seeking Help

·
·

Hi! Good day to all! ❤️ we're trying to import leads from SalesForce but the list doesn't show up. Our client told us we should have at least 1.3k and we tried importing it manually and scheduled but still no luck. Hoping someone can help us in our problem. here is the link to table: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/469115/workbooks/wb_fJmCmTydkVgi/tables/t_pQ2tHBtQxwPU/views/gv_8CYUWkDB5DC4. Appreciate it!

The issue you're experiencing with importing leads from Salesforce is likely due to a limitation imposed by Salesforce, not Clay. Salesforce has a cap of 2,000 records per report when importing data. This limitation is set by the Salesforce API itself. To resolve this and import your 1.3k leads, we recommend: 1. Use a Salesforce list instead of a report for importing, as it allows for a more comprehensive data pull. 2. If you must use a report, set up a SOQL-compatible object view in Salesforce: • Create a new list view for your object (e.g., Account) • Add filters matching your report configuration • Use basic operators (=, <, > , > =, <=) and avoid unsupported ones like "contains" • Save the view and import it to Clay If you need further assistance, please request human support by clicking on "Talk to a person" in this chat.

Hey Christopher! Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help. Could you share a screenshot of your report in Salesforce? It looks like the records are not being recognized. Could you confirm if this is a custom report type? Are you importing accounts or contacts?

Hi Daniela D., here a screenshot but I cannot confirm if this is a custom report. Are you able to tell with this screenshot? But we are importing contacts.

Hey Christopher! Thanks for the reply. The integration doesn't support summary reports/reports with grouped rows in an SF report source. To check this, click on edit in the report view, at the top, you’ll see the Report Type Dropdown options which should include: ** Tabular ** Summary ** Matrix ** Joined Ensure it's set to tabular. Alternatively, you can change this to a list instead and use the "import Records From Salesforce list" option. Here's a quick guide for configuring the integration: https://www.clay.com/university/guide/salesforce-integration-overview. Let me know if this helps!
