Concerns About API and Webhook Limitations in Starter Plan Pricing
Is there a reason the starter plan does not allow HTTP API and Webhook calls? Seems pretty steep to ask my client to get the $349 plan
The HTTP API and webhook features are specifically designed for more advanced use cases and are included in the Explorer plan along with other advanced capabilities like email tool integrations and the ability to send data anywhere. While the Starter plan doesn't include HTTP API access, it does allow you to use your own API keys for data enrichment tools within Clay instead of using Clay credits. This means you can still connect your own data enrichment service accounts, but custom integrations requiring HTTP API or webhooks will need the Explorer plan. If the Explorer plan pricing doesn't work for your client, you might want to start with a 14-day free Pro trial, which temporarily includes access to features like Webhooks and HTTP API, to test if these features are essential for your use case.
