Tips for Building a Quality List of Home Improvement Industry Employers

Hey guys, I’m trying to build a list of companies hiring specific roles in the home improvement industry, and from there, identify the job titles for my ICP. The issue is that when I pull a list of, say, 1000 companies, they span across different industries. After applying filters like industry and ICP, I end up with only about 50 relevant people, which isn’t enough. It’s making it really tough to build a quality list. Any advice or help on how to improve this would be appreciated!

You can scrap linkedin indeed jobs and etc + other job boards to increase the coverage using apify

Hey Emanuel! Jumping in here—I think a good approach to improve your search would be to use Ocean.io to find a list of lookalike companies that better align with your target industry. From there, you can pull specific job titles from this (hopefully more accurate) company list. Also, I agree with Muhammad that many home improvement companies may not be on LinkedIn. Using external tools like Apify or similar alternatives could help increase your coverage and is definitely worth exploring.
