Hubspot Update Contact/company, empty variable

Any way i can avoid overwriting a property is my variable is empty?

i've noticed this will overwrite the property in hubspot with an empty value

also related question, would love to have an 'append' ability instead of a 'overwrite'

especially for multiselect dropdown fields this can be really useful to avoid overwriting data

Hello Florian! I don't think there is a setting to that and I definitely agree that it would be helpful. For now, I think the best way to do this is to do a lookup in your Clay table, merge columns between the ones in you Clay table and the ones you bring in from hubspot. That way, the variables that are blank in your Clay table will be overridden by the ones currently in your hubspot. Then, you can put the merged columns' resulting column in the update contact hubspot enrichment. I understand this is a bit hard ti understand over text, fee free to drop the table link here and I can set up an example in your table.
