Clay’s native company enrich function spits out employee count as a text field. This means having to using a formula to make a number out of the text field before being able to filter out by a numerical range. Would be better if it was a number and not a string
Hey, thanks for reaching out! 😊 What you’re seeing is a range, not the actual count. It’s displayed as text since we can’t input number ranges in that field. If you want an exact number, you can use the Enrich Company feature, which provides more accurate data based on actual information, rather than what the page creator inputted. Let me know if you need further clarification! 😊
I disagree here, because an exact number is hard and the number is usually bad, and sorting an umber is deceptive because 2 > 1 so 2->10 employees would be sorted below 11-50. It's a disaster.
Like I like what Clay does naturally.
Please don’t tell me you’re creating like 6 filters; “if text is 11-50” AND “if text is “51-200” Also, the text field is just as “hard” as the number field in that sense. A number should be a number, not text.. Don’t make me overthink this lol 😂
Hey Pierre, this is what I was suggesting (see screenshot) - If the count isn’t meeting your needs, I’m happy to pass it along to the feedback team. If you could provide more details on why it’s not working for you, that would be really helpful! 😊 Jordan, I’m not sure I fully understand—could you clarify a bit? https://downloads.intercomcdn.com/i/o/1182151527/f8f00b7f08f5b16d5d908d27/image.png?expires=1726529400&signature=dd361afce04761091c2e44aaec7893b8f73e88c0cc7fd6b2cb7e9abe68066ce8&req=dSEvFMh7nIRdXvMW1HO4zbI9ZCQ9VInx59l9IBb8BBg0XwAbzveCoh2TdFNB%0AjuEJ%0A
