Accelerating Model Updates for Claygent: Ideas and Concerns
Hey team, it seems like often amazing models very slowly make it into Claygent. It would be cool if two things happened:
- 1.
You always kept OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini up to date within a week of release. Like new 4.1 mini and such.
- 2.
You added OpenRouter as a Clay option for everything else so we can use Claygent with our own models when engineering can’t deploy in a timely manner.
Gemini 2.5 Pro Experimental is amazing, it’s VERY affordable relative to its skill, and it’s been out since March 25th… Claygent is a HUGE part of Clay’s value and it seems kinda wild that this isn’t making it into the product. Can you put metrics and KPIs behind Claygent and new models so we aren’t left waiting? Or just support OpenRouter so we don’t have to wait? Innovation has slowed down a lot in the last 6 months. Is there a plan that, at least for the super important stuff, a person is tasked with this and they have a KPI? Thanks for listening!
