Clarifying Temperature Settings in Model Options: What Do They Mean?

How do the model settings’ Temperature options translate to numbers? What number is “high”? Why not just show the actual numbers?

Michael, I believe this was just a UI decision to make it easier to interact with. Curious, do you often do decimal-level temperature tuning in your prompts?

Yes. I most often use 1 though. Would like to know if “High” is 1 or .8 or whatever.

Hey there Michael, jumping in for Bo here, the values for the AI temperate in Clay are Very low = .2, Low = .4, Medium = .6 , High = .8 and Very high =1
