Enhancing Enrichment Process with Automated Rate Limit Management

ยท
ยท

Hey, Issue: When connecting third-party services using a custom key, the service accepts requests based on a rate limit. If requests exceed this limit, we need to try again later. For example, if the rate limit is 400 requests per hour, I currently have to manually run enrichment every hour to process over 2,000 records. Solution: It would be helpful to have a rate limit option on the enrichment column, so we could simply run the columns without having to manage rate limits manually.

Hi Alireza, thanks for reaching out and sharing this feedback! I can definitely pass that request along to our team. Could you share more information about what you're looking for when you say "rate limit option" in the enrichment column? The rate limit issue is coming from your API key and isn't something that can be changed with Clay. However, we understand manually processing 2K records at a time is quite challenging! Further details here on the type of solution you're looking for would be greatly appreciated.

Tanvi R. So, as far as I understand, there is no way to automatically "restart" a process that has returned an error, right? For example, I'm using a non native tool with HTTPS calls. It naturally has limits on the number of calls per minute. If I exceed these limits, it results in an error, and I have to restart the process manually, which is quite frustrating. Is there any chance this could be resolved on your end?
