So - I'd love to create a campaign from clay to smart without have to do copy straight away (subject line & body). Just the ability to create the campaign and then send the leads in the campaign works the best. I always plug copy after this step
Got it Leo, so just to clarify you are looking for the option to create a new Smartlead campaign directly from Clay and then send new leads from Clay into that campaign?

Got it Leo, can you share how you are currently doing this right now? We currently only have native integrations to Update, Add, Lookup and Remove Leads from a Campaign so I'm not sure which create campaign function you're referring to
Right now I am doing everything manual exporting via csv into smartlead. I don't use clays smartlead feature
but basically I would like the ability to create a campaign from clay. The function is forcing me to create a message to create the campaign which I don't want to do just yet. I want to create the campaign, populate with leads and then import the copy
Hey Leo, in our Add Lead to Campaign option you don't have to create a message to add leads to a campaign. You can simply link the email address of the contact along with any identifying properties and add them to a Smartlead campaign. I hear you on the creating campaign option and I'll take this back to our team! In the meantime, could you try using this Add Lead to Campaign feature and let us know what you think? This should solve at least half of your issue!
Hi Leo- thanks for the feedback. As Kareem mentioned above, we're working on improving that part of the experience and hope to have something to share soon! Until then, Tanvi's earlier comment is spot-on with what I'd recommend: you should be able to push any data you want to your given Smartlead campaign via the Add Lead to Campaign enrichment's custom variables field. In fact, you can even supply full HTML snippets (which can be built via Clay's AI enrichments) for use in your Smartlead emails.
