Strategies for Classifying 800k HubSpot Contacts into Targeted Segments

We have an 800k Hubspot list and add about 20k contacts per month. We'd like to put these contacts into one of a few buckets like small business owner, big co exec, etc. We get both personal and work emails and I'm trying to come up with a solution for enrichment at the contact level. We don't care about company enrichment except to bring that data into contacts if necessary. I'm thinking we get work emails for those who provide personal and then get their job title, company name, and size of company (employees or revenue) and then use some type of calculated field to group into our buckets. Is this the right track? Any suggestions on how to start? Thanks

Yes, bring the data into clay table and then start the enrichment and push it back to HS.

I would recommend start with the domains and then pull all contacts from HS based on those companies and then divert them into multiple table so you can handle 800K contacts.

But you can also create small lists in hubspot and then pull those lists in Clay.

yes, however i am suggesting to do some segmentation before to make sure you are prioritise some contacts over others - the risk is that you are going to spend a lot of money for contacts that are not relevant

Hey Lloyd S. โ€“ hectic sizes of lists you're working with! I think it'll be quite important to go for cost-efficient solutions when the lists are so big. Highly recommend using tools like Apify and web search/scraping tools to do contact enrichment. Happy to bounce ideas if you'd like to send a DM!
