Is there a way to find out if restaurants are using a certain POS system? If so, how?
Yes. But the restaurant will have to be big enough for it to have a digital footprint big enough to gather the data below: -If the restaurant offers online ordering, check the platform they use. Some POS systems have proprietary online ordering solutions. if a restaurant uses ToastTab for online orders, they probably use the Toast POS system. -Look at job listings for positions at the restaurant. Job descriptions will mention the POS system employees will use. -Search for current or former employees on LinkedIn. Their profiles may mention experience with specific POS systems used at the restaurant. -You can always find these directly on the POS provider's case studies/success stories pages. Sometimes really big lists! Like here. -And of course, if theyre big enough like a restaurant chain, they'll prolly be on BuiltWith. Dvin M.
Adnan M. Dan K. thank you! For context, I’m working with a POS system company that’s is looking to automate their outbound strategy and get into more restaurants. I’m likely to use a mixture of clay, smartlead, etc to get in front of those companies. Do you guys have any other recommendations on specific filters from within clay or another software I should use that can help?
Mark M. the takeout option would be good actually didn’t think of it! Wondering if there’s an option for a drive through as well. To give you some context, I’m working with a POS system company and I want to target new restaurants that are due to open within a few weeks to 3 months out since that’s when they’re considering purchasing a POS system. Is there a way to extract that data from the web or Clay? Ideally, these businesses usually look for a POS system after their county health permits are approved. If you have another strategy that you think could work please let me know I’m open to ideas
