Understanding Clay's Business Model and Data Usage Policies

Hey - im trying to better understand clay’s business model and incentives around my data whenever I use AI enrichment, does clay store those results anywhere? ie so that the next time someone else makes a similar call, they can reuse the results that were fetched for my AI enrichment (if so, how is stale data handled?)

Interesting question, now I’m curious too. 👀 I thought the results were cached per user without being shared

Hey Leeds R. and Zhansaya Y.. Appreciate the question -- it's a good one! Just spoke with Eng team. Can confirm we don't cache data anywhere (ai or otherwise) for reuse, and definitely don't cross-share across accounts. This is both for privacy and so that each data pull is fresh. Not as certain on this one, but I'm pretty sure 'storing data' would also break terms of services with our data providers that partner with us. As you might imagine, they'd want cost-sharing for each individual pull.
