Hey guys, does anyone know if it makes sense to setup personal @gmail and @outlook emails and warm them up for email cold outreach. I've got a lot of cold emails lately - most of them being sent from personal accounts?

IMO, using private emails like @gmail and @outlook doesn't bode well for your brand image. For starters, most people would call it a scam right off the bat. Some might think, if this dude's not able to invest on his own brand then how can he invest in mine? Doing cold outreach with you brand's name positions yourself as the authentic and trustworthy brand. As for your question, I'd say it won't work.

Julius B. - Try it and see, they’re free to setup. Ran them before with gmails and worked well, generated bunch of meetings with it for a client. Test and iterate with the market :)

I think it can be a manageable stratagy but it has it's own pros and cons. Like, the pros would be like they have a chance of higher deliveribility or better engagement also like lower cost. And like, the cons could be that they have a sending limit like Gmail has 500 per day. If you violate the rules your account could be blocked or be marked as spam. Also it is very time consuming cuz warming up personal email takes much more time. So like if you're still gonna do it. What you can do is, you can start by sending to a lower volume which will be less risky or send the mails to reliable contacts so that you have a positive reputation. Also, verify all the emails before sending. That way it can be better.
