Seeking Tips for Using Instantly with HubSpot Integration Challenges

Is anyone using Instantly with HubSpot? I'm experiencing some integration and management challenges and would love to hear how others have set it up for smooth and easy management.

    So our current process is using clay to build, qualify and enrich companies and contacts, these are then added to a TAM list on HS. They are then sent to instantly for target campaigns. I have set up tracking of emails using BCC so that emails and replies are tracked in HS. We currently have one of our sales team managing the replies (positive, neutral and negative). He is booking the leads where appropriate and if the leads opt out he is supposed to be updating within instantly and HubSpot. So first issue is with the integration, how are you running this, we are simply using the BCC to track all emails. When someone opts out, he is having to update on both HubSpot and instantly which is time consuming. Another problem is when sorting the lists for email campaigns, HubSpot and instantly do not talk to each other so when something happens on one of the platforms like a separate email sent by one of our sales team, this is not reflected in Instantky which can lead to overlapping comms. There are more issues but I would just like to know and overview of how other teams have this set up from an integration perspective but also managing instantly?

    Hey I am actively using Instantly with Hubspot, you can do two things to sort the issue. First you can directly integrate Hubspot with Instantly. In Instantly there is an integration to log the emails in Hubspot and as soon as a reply comes, tell your sales team to take over response at only one of the place. Logging emails from instantly to Hubspot is possible but vice versa not, so Hubspot will be the main channel to see all the conversations. Second on order to mark the lead status of replies in Instantly and Hubspot you need to use Zapier or Make to create automations. As soon as a lead is marked as positive in Instantly, that automation will mark the lead as positive in Hubspot. You can do this for any lead status like negative or neutral. You will need to create custom field in Hubspot in order to do that. Let me know if you need further help. You can DM me.
