Tips for Using the Perplexity Deep Research API Without Timing Out

Has anyone tried it out yet and have tips to get the new Perplexity Deep Research API to run and not time out? I've put into the prompt an instruction like complete in 100 seconds as well as reducing the complexity and that seems to improve things but it is inconsistent.
