Building Efficient Company Lists for Cold Outbound Strategy

Β·
Β·

I'm trying to carve out a process for building net new company lists for our cold outbound motion - de-duped against accounts in our CRM and based off a list of our high value customers. I took a pass at running the Ocean.io enrichment against the high value list, but de-duping against accounts in CRM meant exporting, sharing with revops, and then bringing the revised list back in. I'd prefer to use the CRM account list to avoid duplication from the start, but the list I have is ~240k rows so it won't fit in one table. Is it possible to have an enrichment reference multiple tables (eg. if I split out the list into multiple parts) when it runs? The vision is to run the Ocean.io enrichment vs. the high value customer companies, and exclude the CRM account companies from the results but I'm not really sure if that's realistic.

Daniel P. do you own the techstack or plan on using clay credits? Because for this i would recomend to split everything in one single workbook or split the 240k by size by factors like size or industry 100% can be done you just need to be creative

We sell to home service businesses (general contractors, roofing, fencing + decks, etc.). The challenge with segmenting by industry is that there isn’t 1:1 alignment between our internal industry classifications and the options in the enrichment settings - some companies are multi-industry, etc.

Interesting, not sure if ocean is the best tool to spend your credits for this list

Aside from the native lookalikes tool, are there any other integrations that do lookalike?

We target based on revenue instead of headcount, on our performance channels we optimize towards $250k+

The solve I was working through today was creating a couple of columns and adding the URLs for the accounts in our sales force, then using those columns as exclusion in the Ocean enrichment. Didn’t get all the way through it but will report back, open to any and all other suggestions!

There is a fundamental issue with the data in your industry, the rev filters are way to innacurate there is different ways to go about this. Will DM you

Yeah, the rev filters I saw were $0-1M, $1-5M, and up so definitely not as granular as I’d like
