Impact of Domain Proxy on Cold Email Campaign Success

I always use domain proxy while doing cold email but I doubt whether it effects cold email positively. Is here anyone who does not implement domain proxy but has successful cold email campaigns?

I don’t know what domain proxy is (showing my ignorance) so doubt I’m using it. I have successful campaigns.

Just googled it and it seems this can be automatically set up when you register a domain. Is that correct? If so, I do use it.
