Seeking Freelancer for Expert Guidance on Clay List Building
Hey! We are looking for a freelancer/ anyone willing to support us with Clay. We are doing... OK with Clay. We conceptually "get" how it works, but are struggling around the implementation of building lists that "actually work". For example, a standard list building process we'll do consists of
- 1.
Create company list using filters
- 2.
Create a Lead Scoring agent to score companies based on "un-filterable" criteria
- 3.
Disregard companies that don't have a high enough score
- 4.
Create an agent to "Find the best contacts at this company" to identify the 2-4 best people at the company related to the campaign we're running (i.e. instead of relying just on 'Job Title' fields)
- 5.
Use the Write to another table function to create a contact table
- 6.
Enrich contacts with e.g. work email
When doing steps 2 and 4, it's quite common that the agent won't "get the right answer". E.g. if we ask it to give 3 points to a company that is hiring for Customer Support/ CX positions it'll do so, even if it's from a job posting 5 years ago. We're not sure if it's because we're not writing the agent instructions well enough, or if we've hit a limit of what's possible with Clay, but it would be great to speak with someone who really knows the ins and outs of doing this type of research on Clay who can give us some guidance.
