surfe for find people is messing up. I’m looking for Exact matches based on job titles and it’s giving me irrelevant roles. ex) “VP sustainability”, exact match is ON, and it spits out “Accounting Specialist”

Hey Pierre! Thanks for reaching out! Hi there! Do you mind sending the link (url) to the table so we can take a look?
like go look for a Digital Marketing Specialist with an exact match and you’ll get a CFO using Surfe
Pierre - Sorry for this, it looks like we've got a bug on our hands. I've escalated this to our engineering team to help look into it. We'll follow up here as soon as we know more!
Hey! Just heard back from our team and it looks like our Surfe integration doesn't have exact matches. Exact matches only applies to our own enrichments. You may see the 'Exact matches' toggle but it's specifically for Clay, not Surfe.
I'm unable to locate your table but if you're able to send me the link URL, I could show you if you need more clarity.
I apologize for the inconvenience, hope this helps!
Hey! Thank you for your patience while I worked with our teams. Just to clarify — the filters you set right now only apply to our native 'Find People' enrichment and not to other providers. That’s actually the expected behavior, though we understand the name 'Find People at Companies' can make it seem like the filters would apply across everything.
Because of this, if you’re using multiple providers, you’ll need to manually map your filters and optional fields for each one in the Full Configuration section.
In the meantime, we recommend using the 'Find People' source instead of this enrichment. That option automatically applies your filters, so you won’t need to set them up multiple times.
Hope this helps!
Good news! Happy to report that we heard back from the team and this issue should be fixed.
Try a quick refresh (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R) and let us know if the problem has been resolved on your end, or if you still have trouble.
Thank you for your patience as we worked on it.
