Concerns About Clay's Performance with Large Datasets

Hello, New Clay user here, in the past I used to build the same things Clay does using Sheets and Make.com and plug in my own keys of various providers. Thought I'd try clay out. I am having the worst time with how slow the platform is in general. Everything feels buggy, moving from one side of the table to the other takes time, switching tables is a pain and every time I enrich something in another table I need to rerun columns to make sure the data populates. I currently have about 5k rows in each of 6 tables in my workbook, but Im scared that with more scale, it will be even worse. Is this only me? or is Clay not very performant?
