Troubleshooting Contact Extraction and Filter Issues in Data Tables

Hello

  1. 1.

I have a table with companies and job vacancies from which I extract contacts into another table. In this table, where no contacts were found. I manually checked LinkedIn and found contacts with the same job titles that I specified in the search, but these people are not being found. Why is this happening?

  2. 2.

I already have a completed table with predefined search criteria and results. Contacts were found, and everything was working correctly. I decided to expand the scope by adding new job titles, but now it shows this result. When I make changes to the filters, it keeps saying "No results found." Why is this happening?

There could be a few reasons why you're not finding contacts with specified job titles: 1. Your job title keywords might be too restrictive. Try broadening them to capture more results. 2. Check your search parameters, including company identifiers, locations, and other filters. Ensure they're not overly limiting your search. 3. Review your per-company limit settings. Adjusting these could expand your search scope. 4. Verify that you're using the correct input format for company identifiers (e.g., LinkedIn URL, domain, or Sales Navigator URL). If you're still not getting results after these adjustments, you may want to review your overall search strategy or consider if there might be data limitations for your specific search criteria.

I put pretty clear titles which are Chief People Officer and Head of Recruiting, I found people in the companies I'm working with, with these titles via Linkedin, however Clay did't find them. Why?

There could be several reasons why our search isn't finding specific titles: 1. Our data might not be as up-to-date as LinkedIn's. 2. The contacts may have different titles in our database. 3. Our search criteria might need adjustment. To improve your search: 1. Use broader job title keywords or try different variations. 2. Adjust other filters like seniority or job functions. 3. Use the "Bio Keywords" filter to search for specific skills or expertise. If you're still having trouble, try layering multiple filters to refine your search. Remember, you can also filter by experience, location, and other criteria to find the right contacts.
