Bug Report: Salesforce Account Change in Clay Lookup Fails to Update
Hey I would like to report a bug on Clay and the Salesforce actions 👋 Title Changing the Select Salesforce account on a Lookup Record does not perform the lookup using the new selected account credentials Description If a user changes the selected account on a Lookup Records action to lookup records on Salesforce and then re runs the action it never gets executed to the new defined salesforce account. Steps to reproduce
- 1.
Create a new Clay Table with some companies information
- 2.
Add a new Lookup Record action to search for the Company info in Salesforce and select on salesforce account
- 3.
Save and run the rows
- 4.
Edit the lookup action to point to a different salesforce account that has information about the companies to see a difference on the expected result
- 5.
Save and run the rows again
Expected Result Clay should perform the new lookup action using the new Salesforce credentials pointing to the correct environment Actual Result Credentials don't get updated and users need to delete the action and re create it from scratch Attached video as evidence Additional Comments I don't know if this bug can be replicated to for Update, Inserts, etc on SF but I can image we would face the same experience
