Hey Andreas, thanks for the video and context! Happy to elaborate, formulas at this time require a condition to print values or determine how it should evaluate based on a trigger. So to ensure you can apply the logic you can prompt it to always return that value if /{column} is empty, otherwise still return value as an example, the formula could look like this (or variation of): {{column}} ? "Engineering" : "Engineering" now that it has a trigger. Let me know if you have additional questions!
aaah right txh Arturo. Oh yeah right I forgot about the formula aspect. All good. But I’d still say that expected behavior if it’s not a formula would be that it’s replicated in each cell without a workaround. Maybe it’s because I use it so much because of Serper, but for a use case like this where I need an input for another column, this would be super nice.
Hi Andreas! Yeah, for now, that's the only workaround for hard printing the values into a text column. Sorry about that.
