I don't get why I should pay 0.5 credits every time Claygent tells me No Answer Found after doing 20 steps of web research. What is this?
Different providers have different charging policies, and some providers charge for the attempt to find information, regardless of whether they successfully return data or not. When a provider charges us for their API call, we correspondingly charge Clay credits for that call. This applies even if the search doesn't yield results. You can check which actions are refundable for each provider in our documentation.

Looks like you're still looking for help. We're currently outside of our standard office hours (9 AM to 9 PM EST, Monday through Friday), so it may take a little longer for us to respond. Hey Adnan, thanks for getting in touch. AI would consume tokens to process the data, even if it ultimately isn't able to reach the specific conclusion you're looking for. When you click on an individual cell, it should open a side panel that displays the number of Clay credits ultimately consumed. Happy to have a look at any specific tables where you're having trouble with the prompts. Just share the link and I can take a look with you.
Is it logical that after 20 steps of web research, where it looks at the correct pages, it still says No Answer?
Based on those details alone, no, which is why I'm interested in getting more. So I'd like to change the approach from philosophy to science, if at all possible. If you have a table where you're seeing this right now, or later on, please share so we can investigate further with you!
