hey team, Formula isn't memorizing the original input like it used to. As soon as "generate formula" and save, it forgets the original description.
Based on the available information, there's no indication that the Formula feature is designed to save or memorize the original input description after generating and saving a formula. The AI Formula workflow involves: 1. Entering your formula instructions 2. Clicking "Generate formula" 3. Reviewing the output 4. Saving the formula if it looks correct If you need to iterate on your prompt, this is normal. The documentation mentions "The AI might not always give you exactly what you're looking for on the first try" and suggests you can "iterate on your prompts" or "adjust the wording" to get better results.
Hey there Andi sorry for the delay here, thanks for bringing this up, this is actually something that team has recently been discussing and we are looking into seeing what is happening. Do you mind sending the link (url) to the table so we can take a look?
thanks Luis! I don’t remember which table it was lol sorry man. I’ll send it over when I run into it again
No worries, just let us know, as I mentioned before the team is aware of this but if we can get an example to show them it would help speed things up here.

Column name is "Troubleshoot Formula"
Hey Andi thank you for sharing this will let the team know about this. Just an update they are currently looking into what is causing the prompt to disappear in these formula boxes. When we learn more we will update you.
Good news! Happy to report that we heard back from the team and this issue should be fixed. Try a quick refresh (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R) and let us know if the problem has been resolved on your end, or if you still have trouble. Thank you for your patience as we worked on it.
