Hey guys, nasty bug where my "write to tables" just started entering empty rows. Doesn't throw and error so hard to find. Been seeing issues with the column mapping in the "write to table enrichment" where it will reset the fields without warning.
I apologize, but I don't have specific information about the "write to table enrichment" resetting column mapping fields or entering empty rows without warning. This behavior isn't mentioned in our documentation. The Write to Table feature is designed to transfer data between Clay tables, allowing you to map columns from a source table to a destination table. It's typically used for parsing lists or mirroring columns. To help troubleshoot your issue, could you provide more details about when this problem occurs? For example, are you seeing this behavior during the initial setup, or does it happen after you've already configured the integration? Had this for weeks. Very-very bad.
I apologize, but I don't have specific information about the "write to table enrichment" resetting column mapping fields or entering empty rows without warning. This issue isn't mentioned in the provided sources. However, to help prevent unexpected behavior when using the Write to Table feature, consider these tips:1. Double-check your column mappings before running the enrichment. 2. Use the "Only run if" condition in the run settings to control when the enrichment runs. 3. Turn off auto-update while setting up your table to avoid unnecessary credit usage and potential errors. To better assist you with this specific issue, could you provide more details about when and how you're experiencing this problem? For example, are you seeing this behavior during initial setup or after making changes to your table? Hi Mathew, thanks for reaching out. Taking a look at this now! Can you share a url to your table so I can take a closer look at your write to other table setup?
Happened on my "Find Contacts" write in this table: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/295058/workbooks/wb_bQgMupE6aSKA/tables/t_G8oNSwGogywU/views/gv_kr3FJoFt6PWf
Warning you it will be tough to replicate -- happens randomly
Also friendly recommendation -- not sure it's the best idea to have the AI support bot answering messages in the "bugs" channel. Have had situations where I report a bug (just to flag) and the bot responds & closes the thread. Not sure how it works on the backend but wanted to flag in case there was a risk of missing bug reports as a result
Hey there thank you for sharing as we test this.
