What's the point of a waterfall if its going to run every column anyway? So many credits lost!

    Actually, waterfalls are designed to save you credits, not waste them. Here's how they work:1. The waterfall runs providers sequentially, one at a time 2. If a provider successfully finds the data you're looking for, the waterfall stops and doesn't run the remaining providers 3. You're only charged credits for the provider that successfully finds the data 4. If a provider doesn't return a result, you won't be charged for that attemptThis is much more efficient than the old way of manually checking multiple data providers, where teams would need 6-12 different subscriptions and manually process data through each one. The waterfall automatically tries each provider until it finds what you need, helping you maximize data coverage while minimizing costs.     Plus, the email doesn't always get added to the merged column at the end thats auto created by the waterfall. 😒

In your workflow, there is an email validation service that runs between each data provider column if you've opted to include it in your waterfall. When an email is found, it is passed through the validation service. In your case, these validation columns seem to be hidden. If the validation marks the email as invalid, the waterfall will continue to look for other potential emails. In your specific case, the email chris.karlin@tango.us was found but marked as invalid by the validation service, such as ZeroBounce. The waterfall then proceeded to check other data providers, but no additional valid email was available. As a result, the same invalid email was returned by the system, but this time it bypassed the validation column. Since the email was flagged as invalid by ZeroBounce, it wasn’t merged into the final column of the waterfall. The process of searching and returning emails required API calls, which used a few credits as the system made its best attempt to locate a valid email. I hope this explanation helps clarify things!     Yeah but I don't want catch alls in the first place. What's the best waterfall to run so catch alls aren't returned and reverified every time, costing extra credits?

    Hey Adnan, totally hear you! Just to confirm, if an email is found and marked invalid, the waterfall continues searching. Upon searching, if that same email which was already marked invalid is found again, the waterfall won't attempt to reverify it in an attempt to save credits. You only get charged credits for 'successful' searches with data providers, as in, if they find an email and return it you'll get charged credits for that utility. You're currently running an optimal waterfall when it comes to the balance of avoiding catch-alls and saving credits. One thing I noticed is that you are validating some of your existing emails before running the waterfall which makes total sense! However, you can save credits by adding a conditional formula to only run the email waterfall when 'Validate Apollo Email' is 'Invalid' or 'Catch-all' to ensure you're not using the waterfall to find an email you already have.     Ah, got it. That does sound unusual. How often have you noticed enrichment inputs, prompts, or formulas not saving after you've set them up?
