And yes, let me follow up with the team on this request. Had my share of situations with this behavior waiting for it to update, even turning off auto-update just in case.
A potential workaround but unideal of course, is to have a true/false check column against the original value... if it's different then run, else nothing happens. But likely not applicable to all flows/circumstances.
