I'm unable to upload a normal CSV file. I always get an error. Even if I make the file smaller.
There could be several reasons why you're having trouble uploading your CSV file. Here are some troubleshooting steps: 1. Ensure your CSV doesn't have "created at" or "updated at" columns. 2. Check that your file has fewer than 72 columns and 50,000 rows. 3. Use UTF-8 encoding with comma-separated values. 4. Try uploading to a public Google Sheet, then download as CSV and re-upload. 5. Make sure the file name is short. If issues persist, try these steps: 1. Go to your workspace home and select "Create new". 2. Choose "Import from CSV". 3. Upload your file and select "New blank table". 4. Click "Complete import". If you're still having problems, let me know and I can help further.
try uploading to google sheets first, download and re-uploading
When uploading CSVs to Clay, ensure the following: 1. Remove "created at" or "updated at" columns. 2. Stay within 72 columns and 50,000 rows limit. 3. Use UTF-8 encoded CSV files with comma separators. 4. Keep the CSV file name short. If issues persist: ** Check for green triangles in your table, which may indicate copy-pasted values. ** Try downloading your old table as a CSV and re-uploading it. If you're still encountering errors, share the specific CSV file with us, and we'll investigate further.
