Signals for new hires: pulls tons of duplicates, even one right after the other. About 40-45% of contacts found are duplicates. Dedupe on linkedin profile works but just means I'm paying for double credits.
To prevent duplicate contacts and avoid double charges when using the new hires signal, you can try these steps: 1. Use Lookup columns to check for existing data before running new enrichments. This can help you avoid duplicate enrichments and save credits. 2. Before setting up a new signal, ensure your table includes unique identifiers like LinkedIn URLs for individuals or company identifiers. 3. When configuring the signal, use filters to narrow down the results and reduce the likelihood of duplicates. 4. Consider using additional identifiers beyond LinkedIn profiles, such as email addresses or a combination of name and company, to improve deduplication. no - this is a bug. These are signals coming in quickly so lookup columns would not catch that a previous one existed. Also that's not even possible since lookup columns can only run on existing columns and I can't set signals to run lookups until a duplicate is already populated. Log this as a bug.
Hello Evan! Thank you for reaching out! Do you mind sending the link (url) to the table so we can take a look?
