hi Clay S., having a bug with formulas + creating new columns. Please see loom inside
To resolve formula and column creation bugs: For Formula Issues: ** Try iterating on your prompts or adjust wording - the AI might not give perfect results on first try ** Use the preview feature to verify results before applying the formula ** You can directly modify the generated code if needed For Column Creation: ** Add columns by scrolling right and selecting "Add column" or using dropdown menu on existing columns ** When creating formulas, type "/" to reference columns in the AI Formula Generator *For Queued/Stuck Columns: If your column shows "Queued" or stops running, create a new column by duplicating the current one, filter for rows where the column "is empty," run the AI on those rows, then use "merge columns" to combine results Since you mentioned a Loom video with specific details, if these general troubleshooting steps don't resolve your issue, please request human assistance by clicking "Talk to a person" for more targeted help.
Hey Panos, Thank you so much for reaching out! To answer your second question, you should be able to add more columns when needed by right-clicking on any column header and selecting "insert column left/right". I've attached a quick snippet of how to achieve this. To better diagnose the first issue you were facing with the formula not allowing for updates, could you share the link to your table and old/new formulas so I can test on my end? Thank you!
hey Hari K., thanks for jumping in brother here's the table: https://app.clay.com/workspaces/397780/workbooks/wb_0szfwbo5VZHXkHuYjfB and def thanks for the feedback lol! UI changed apperantly and this went unnoticed
Hey Panos! Thank you for sharing. Did you end up changing off of formula columns? I can't seem to find the example from the video in this workbook.
and this keeps happening across the workspace
Panos - Sorry for this, it looks like we've got a bug on our hands. I've escalated this to our engineering team to help look into it. We'll follow up here as soon as we know more!
thanks Hari
Good news! Happy to report that we heard back from the team and this issue should be fixed. Try a quick refresh (Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R) and let us know if the problem has been resolved on your end, or if you still have trouble. Thank you for your patience as we worked on it.
