Hi I'm trying to create an email waterfall but somehow it says columns maxed out when its nowhere close? Is this a limitation of the workbook feature?
The "columns maxed out" error you're experiencing is indeed related to a limitation, but it's not specific to the workbook feature. Each table in Clay has a column limit of 70, with up to 30 of these being action or integration columns. For email waterfalls, this integration column limit is raised to 40. The issue likely stems from the 30-column limit for action (enrichment) columns per table. While you can still add general text columns, creating more enrichment columns may require deleting completed enrichment columns after retrieving the data. This can be particularly challenging with email waterfalls, which may use up to 20 enrichments alone. Hi Yan, thank you for reaching out. As shown in the warning below:
You currently have 25 out of 30 computational columns used up in your table. A waterfall usually uses another 8-12 computational columns. This would result in you exceeding this computational column limit.
