Upcoming AMA with Eric Engoron: Expert Insights on Engineering, SaaS, and AI - Sept 24
@channel Hey everyone! Excited to share our next Clay Ask Me Anything (AMA) Every other week, we feature a Clay teammate who answers your questions right here in Slack. Our next guest is Eric Engoron, Special Technical Advisor at Clay. Eric has the third-longest tenure at Clay — even longer than our co-founder, Varun! In the 4.5 years since joining, he’s worked on every part of the product as a full-stack engineer. More than half of the >200 integrations that Clay currently has were built by Eric! These days, he works across the Engineering organization on integrations, billing, enterprise features, and anywhere else they need his deep institutional knowledge. Ask him about:
Building a technical career
Tradeoffs of building a complex tool like Clay
When to not use AI at work
How to pick which startup to join
What he thinks about the future of SaaS
If he’s scared of an AI apocalypse or not
& anything else you want to know
Jump into Ask Me Anything to add your questions, and he will respond on Thursday, September 24 from 1-2pm EDT / 5-6pm UTC. ➡️ Upvote other people's questions with a ➕ react if you have that question, too. ➡️ Please make a separate post for each question, he will reply in the thread. (Note: This is a written AMA in that Slack channel, there's no accompanying Zoom call)
